Rules & Registration

Players

At practices, training sessions, and games players are expected to:

  • Be prepared to play, ready to listen, and equipped with the appropriate gear for practices and uniform for games

    • Wear shin guards at all games and practices

    • Wear cleats on the field and sneakers at gym practices

    • Bring water or sports drinks to practices and games

  • Be respectful to all players on their team and other teams

  • Be respectful to all coaches and referees

  • Be respectful to the field and facilities we use or visit

    • Clean up after practices and games

  • Refrain from using abusive, negative, offensive, insulting and/or taunting language before, during, and after practice and/or games

  • Refrain from putting your hands on other players, coaches, referees, parents and spectators before, during and after practice and/or game

    • NO BULLYING (zero tolerance policy)

    • Refrain from excessive physical gameplay and offensive language

  • Support the team and other teammates by following the game while on the sidelines

Parents

At practices, training sessions, and games parents are expected to:

  • NOT PARENT COACH FROM THE SIDELINES during games and/or practices

  • Support their child(ren)’s efforts to be on time and be prepared for all practices, training sessions, and games.

  • Not question the calls of the referee or the actions of the coach

  • Provide encouragement to their child(ren) and all team players

  • Be respectful of all players on their child(ren)’s team and opposing teams, coaches, referees, and spectators

  • Discuss all issues with my child(ren)’s coach privately and at a time away from the game (NOT during)

  • Refrain from unsportsmanlike behavior, including verbal or physical abuse of players, coaches, referees and other spectators at practice, before, during and after games

Additionally, we kindly ask that parents:

  • Notify coaches of sickness/absence in advance of practices and games

  • Indicate practice and game attendance in advance on TeamSnap

  • Pay registration and seasonal fees on time

Registration

Registration can occur during any time of the year for any soccer season. We accept new players at any/all times. There is a 1 time registration fee, which is good for the entire school year. There is also a cost to play each season which includes field and official fees. These fees will typically be paid through the TeamSnap registration process or other method, if specified. Jerseys and other equipment can be purchased separately through the UE Jr Tigers online store, which will be made available typically during the beginning of each season.
